External Event: Wealth Inequity: Understanding the Impact of Poverty on Families’ Health

May 19, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join the National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention on Wednesday, May 19 from 1-2 p.m. ET to explore wealth inequity, and how poverty impacts families’ overall health and the ability to safely provide for and care for their children. Unpack how the lack of accumulated wealth and resources among families, especially families of color, has been impacted by COVID-19. The National Center hopes to equip case review teams with ways to lead non-judgmental discussions of the impacts of poverty and ways these experiences may be observed in the records or in the fatality review process.
