This webinar for Healthy Start communities will provide information and materials about improving the oral health of women, before, during, and after pregnancy and giving infants up to age two a healthy start.
At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify at least 2 current and emerging oral health issues relevant to Healthy Start communities.
- Describe the role of the National Maternal and Child Oral Health Resource Center (OHRC) in responding to the needs of Healthy Start communities in addressing oral health issues.
- Discuss at least 2 methods that OHRC uses to support health professionals, program administrators, educators, policymakers, and others with the goal of improving oral health services for Healthy Start communities.
- Identify at least 2 federal, state, and local agencies; national and state organizations and associations; and foundations with whom Healthy Start communities can collaborate to gather, develop, and share high-quality and valued information and materials.
