Introduction to Telehealth and Considerations for Healthy Start

December 11, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Have you considered the role that telehealth could play in your Healthy Start work? Join this webinar with Dr. Jonathan Neufeld of the Great Plains Telehealth Resource and Assistance Center to gain a general understanding of how telehealth is used to deliver care. Dr. Neufeld will also present a framework for planning to use telehealth to deliver care and services in a Healthy Start setting. Our other expert speaker on the webinar will be Ms. Mary Zelanzy, CEO of Finger Lakes Community Health in New York, who will share how telehealth has helped them overcome barriers to service delivery, such as transportation and language. Ms. Zelanzy will also describe how they provide behavioral health and other pregnancy-related services through telehealth.
