This webinar discussed the impact of employment on breastfeeding decisions, including strategies for supporting clients who return to the workplace and would like to continue breastfeeding. We shared Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines on creating a safe workplace during the COVID-19 pandemic and best practices for making worksite milk expression areas safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We also discussed strategies for supporting clients who work from home and breastfeed, as well as methods for enhancing support networks, including family caregivers and childcare providers.
