Infant Feeding Toolkit

Toolkit was piloted with providers involved with the Boston Healthy Start Initiative. The Infant Feeding Toolkit is a participatory, client-centered, approach to breastfeeding and will guide providers to use reflective listening, empathy, and encouragement with clients. The toolkit enables providers to exchange accurate and consistent infant feeding information, foster mutually reinforcing relationships, and empower clients to self-manage infant feeding goals. Focuses on delivery of breastfeeding supports during pregnancy and up to two weeks postpartum.
