Father-Friendly Check-Up

This tool helps organizations to assess the degree to which their operations encourage father involvement in the services and programs they offer. The check-up consists of four assessment categories: 1) Leadership Development including the attitudes, beliefs, and values held by the organization’s employees—the culture of the organization—and their impact on the delivery of services and program; 2) Organizational Development, including policies and procedures, processes, and physical environment; 3) Program Development, including the services and programs an organization offers, how it engages staff in offering them, and how it promotes and markets them; and 4) Community Engagement, including the ability of an organization to engage its community in the delivery of services and programs.
