Carey Temperament Scales (CTS)

A collection of five questionnaires for parents to rate their children on 9 temperament categories identified in the New York Longitudinal Study– activity level, regularity, adaptability, initial approach-withdrawal, intensity, mood, persistence, sensory threshold and distractibility. Each questionnaire covers a specific age range that corresponds to a developmental period. Together, they permit assessment of the NYLS temperament categories from 1 month of age up to 13 years.
