Healthy Living Initiative: Taking a Landscape View to Healthy Living: How our surroundings influence our ability to live healthy, and what changes Healthy Start programs can make to support living healthy at all levels

June 22 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Supporting Healthy Start participants in their ability to live healthy – eating well, being active, and managing stress – is of critical importance for Healthy Start programs, as these factors influence a woman’s health outcomes at all stages of her life. Supporting staff health is also a priority. Yet our ability to live healthy is greatly influenced by our surroundings. In this webinar, the first in the Healthy Living series, we will introduce opportunities to support both staff and participants to live healthy, through changes at the community, organizational, and interpersonal and individual levels. In future webinars in the series, we will dive deeper into the healthy living topics of healthy eating, physical activity, and stress management.
